5月25日在上海社会科学院礼堂举办的“哈佛大学资深招生官Champagne女士升学讲座”是没有经过哈佛大学的认可的活动。此次活动的组织者并未联系哈佛大学及哈佛招生办公室，与哈佛也没有直接的关系。哈佛大学的官员将不会出席此次活动。在中国或其他地方，哈佛大学与任何招生顾问或代理机构都没有合作关系。

在马萨诸塞州剑桥的哈佛大学的招生委员会以相同条件来评估申请者的资格。在招生过程中不存在固定的程式。使用招生顾问不会增加被录取的几率。招生委员会根据一系列广泛的因素来评估每个申请人，包括学术素养，社会参与，领导能力，课外活动，以及工作经验等等。

The organizers of the unauthorized admissions event tonight have no current connection to or contact with Harvard or the Harvard College Admissions Office.  No Harvard officials will be in attendance.  In fact, this event is not endorsed by Harvard.  And Harvard maintains no relationships with any admissions consultants or agencies in China or elsewhere.

Harvard’s Admissions Committee in Cambridge Massachusetts evaluates the application and qualifications on the same criteria.  There is no formula for gaining admission to Harvard and the use of an admissions consultant provides no known advantage in the admissions process.  Instead, the Admissions Committee evaluates a wide range of factors for each applicant including academic accomplishment, community involvement, leadership and distinction in extracurricular activities, and work experience..
