I answered the Varsity survey. Like many others of my friends, I lied because they were asking stupid questions and I wanted to warp their results. Never expected the DM to pick up on the 'story', but in a way - it makes me more glad I did it

This is pure nonsense that is not based on any real empirical evidence. The majority of the students in Cambridge are too wealthy and too hardworking to be bothered trying to deal in drugs. Most of them are not in the real world and would not even know how to meet the kind of person who would be able to supply them drugs to on sell.

I don't know who they surveyed, I was never surveyed and have never taken drugs and neither have any of my friends. I think people need to stop slamming students at prestigious universities, we got here through hard work and it has been little else since.

Was this an undergraduate study performed on a Friday night after drinks? This is yet another article bashing Cambridge and it is not appropriate given the hard work and commitment of students who spend three or four years in a very high pressure environment. Back off!

All brains but no common sense.

I think it's more likely that one in seven students like to wind up people who conduct stupid surveys.
