这是我家报喜献给所有焦急等待Ivy day的孩子们，
预祝孩子们成功！
The ivy night with bittersweet chill,
Cross letters the miraculous Cong unfold;
The path to dreams is laid, the sacred test,
Let your heart guide you on the lofty quest.
If there's anybody out there who still overlooks the bearing of our efforts; who still questions the magnitude of our courage; who still doubts the power of our dreams ------ tonight, is your answer.
It's been a long time coming, but tonight, because of what we did, in this application season, at this defining moment, the decisive answer is finally brought to us.
The answer is the one that may change our lives for once and ever, both in the macroscopic structure and the microscopic fiber. The answer serves as one everlasting milestone of all time; it marks the end of the loftiest odyssey on which we've ever embarked------ and possibly the beginning of a new and more breath-taking one.
It is a moment that mere lapse of time cannot make to dawn. We are ready to reap the fruit of the painstaking marathon; whether it's sweet or sour, we will take it graciously, as a token of our striving. Every letter of recognition, however humble, crystallizes our dignity, our firm footing on the quicksand of an ultra-competitive pool.
With the ticking of the clock, the first domino piece will fall like the last leaf on a winter vine. In that inevitable collapse, all the regrets would vanish, all the tears subside, all the wounds recovered, all the frenzies silenced, all the bitter memories dissolved into thin air.
In that mighty moment of revelation, we know we will stand tall, take the blow, bear the torch and grope for a thread that connects the past and the future, yearn for an oracle that makes the difference between victory and defeat.
Good luck to all my dear friends. Forgive my incoherent thoughts on a cozy night before the storm.
