Once upon a time, there lived four friends. Their names were Ducky, Piggyly, Birdie and Chickiety. Ducky was a nice, thoughtful and helpful duck. Piggyly was lazy, fat and fast. Piggyly was also the world's fastest pig.

Birdie was very nice, but she was also really shy. Chickiety was a bossy, picky but sensitive chicken. These four friends always met each other at Chickiety's chicken coop during the morning.

The chicken coop was full of eggs. It was a warm cozzy place. Everyone got in the chicken coop. Ducky, Birdie and Piggyly waited for the Chicken Check.

The Chicken Check insured that everyone was in a good condition for a chicken. "Ducky," started Chickiety, "What, it already started?" Ducky shouted in surprise. "Yep, it already started.".

Chickiety said, "And you forgot to dry your feathers Ducky" "Sorry,", Ducky said. He forgot that Chickiety was a chicken, not a duck. Chickens didn't like water.

Ducky reached for a leaf on the ground. Ducky used the leaf to dry himself. "Piggyly," said Chickiety, "There is no getting my chicken coop messy!" "Sorry," Piggyly said falling asleep.

"WAKE UP!" shouted chickiety to Piggyly. Piggyly snored. SNORE! "WAKE UP!" shouted Chickiety again. Piggly woke up. "We will have a talk about behaving in the chicken coop!" Shouted Chickiety.

The talk begined. It was too boring to hear. It was so boring that Ducky started daydreaming and Piggly started sleeping.

The talk was finally finished and Birdie, Ducky, and Piggyly went to Ducky's pond. They didn't come to the pond too often.

"Come on!" started Ducky, "Let's go in the pond", Ducky said cheerfully. Ducky went to the deep end. Birdie went to the shallow end, and Piggyly stayed on shore.

Meanwhile at the chicken coop, Chickiety was dry cleaning her house. Piggyly got the chicken coop messy. Ducky got it wet and Birdie had an accident so there was bird poo in Chickiety's chicken coop.

"Next time we will meet outside the chicken coop. " said Chickiety to herself. Behind the chicken coop, there was Catsed. Catsed was the biggest, meanest cat ever.

Catsed looked like a nice friendly and cute cat, but he was the opposite inside. Catset wanted to scare Chickiety and chase her into the deep dark forest.

"No more meetings!" Catset said in his mind. Now Catsed broke the chicken coop by kicking hard. Chickiety was startled by Catsed.

Catsed now chased Chickiety until she ran into the deep dark forest. Catsed was happy:"Time to destroy the chicken coop!"

At the pond, Ducky and Birdie just came out the calm, beautiful and wet pond. Ducky and Birdie now dried themselves and expected Piggyly to be sleeping. Piggly was sleeping.

“I knew it!” Cucky and birdie said together. "WAKE UP!" Ducky and Birdie shouted at the same time. Piggly woke up. "How about we go to the trees?"

Ducky suggested. "Sure!" Piggyly and Birdie said. When they were walking, Piggyly took a wrong turn and walked to a dirty, muddy, murky pigsty.

"Home at last!" Piggyly shouted. Ducky and Birdie were still walking to the trees until they stopped between the broken chicken coop and the forest.

They knew something strange happened. "Look at Catset." Ducky began, "Chickiety is not in the chicken coop and Catset is destroying the chicken coop!"

"Do I hear Chickiety shouting help in the forest?" Birdie asked. "Yes," Ducky said, "I think that Catsed chased Chickiety into the forest."

"HELP!" sqeaked Chickiety louder than she ever did. Birdie and Ducky ran to the pigsty.

They called Piggyly, "Piggyly, Piggyly," Ducky and Birdie called, "We need to make a plan to get Chickiety out of the forest." Ducky said to Piggyly.

They started thinking of a plan. They thought of the same thing. Ducky spoke about his plan first.

"...and you, PIggyly, are going to ride all of us to the broken chicken coop." Ducky said, "Farmer James and his wife, Jane, caught Catsed and now Catsed is not allowed to go outside."

"Okay!" Birdie said, "We know all of that!" Birdie said, madly. "Time to take action! " Birdie said. Birdie flew up for a bird's eye view.

She flew until she saw the forest. Birdie now needed to fly near Chickiety. Birdie found Chickiety. "I'm done." Birdie started. "Let's move on to step 2."

Birdie shouted. Ducky and Piggyly heard Birdie. Ducky jumped on Piggyly. "GO AS FAST AS YOU CAN!" Ducky shouted to Piggyly. Piggly took off like a rocket.

Ducky fell off Piggyly's back. Luckily, Ducky grabbed Piggyly's tail so he didn't fall on the ground. After 5 seconds, Piggyly found Chickiety in front of them.

"Chickiety, come on Piggyly's back." Birdie said to Chickiety. Chickiety jumped on. Piggyly now ran and ran until they reached the broken chicken coop.

They all saw Catsed in the farmer's big brick house. "Let's fix this chicken coop!" shouted Chickiety.

The friends fixed the chicken coop and played games like Piggy back. The friends played till it was dinner time and lived happily ever after. Well, until Catsed escaped.

唉，提起中文我就冒烟，这两天正跟她冷战呢，还是为了中文。眼看暑假就要结束了，给她布置的任务一半都没完成，默字默不出。惩罚都用尽了，没收了她的所有电子玩具。怎么办呢！

画画没问题，但我估计一换成中文，她的思维要慢兩拍。

谢谢你！我记得你是语文老师？你的建议非常好。词汇量是个大问题，以致我平时跟她说话，特别是教育她时，用到书面化一点的用词，就不得不用英语，比方她不理解‘诚实’、‘勤奋’、‘尊敬’这样的用词，更不要说成语了。我为她想想中文也真是难！不过她还是很努力的，跟外婆说话一直用中文描述，有的用得很有趣，有次她想说等饭凉一点了再吃，说成等饭“凉快”了一点再吃，我听了觉得用得很可爱！想跟外婆说草地上的蚱蜢，憋了半天说成“草地跳”-- 直接就从英文‘grasshopper’ 翻过来了。.

好的，我留心记下来。这几日忙着参选旺爸的管委会呢.
