Reporting to the Senior Manager in Shanghai client-system group, you will work closely with project and product managers, engineers and leads, as well as other functional groups. You will be responsible for ON TIME project completion and to communicate any delays to executive management.
Primary Responsibilities
In your role as Project Manager you will own and manage the schedules for multiple projects serving oversea market and wilress carriers, e.g. AT&T, Sprint, Verizon and T-Mobile, and be responsible for their successful completion. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Creating and managing detailed project schedules;
2. Coordinating cross-functional team deliverables;
3. Ensuring tasks get done in a timely fashion;
4. Keeping all stakeholders fully informed of project status and progress, and
5. Collaborating closely with product managers during the complete software development
lifecycle;
6. Working closely with US-side experienced PJMs and learn SDLC, Critical Chains, Iterative
Development.
Job Qualifications
1. BS/MS in computer science or related major with 3 or more years of software engineering experience, and 1-2 years of project lead or management experience.
2. A proven track record of leading or managing multiple projects simultaneously, a strong understanding of standard software development methodologies, expertise in software technologies and project management tools such as Microsoft Project are required.
3. Knowledge and experience of Agile, Critical Chain, or other software development or project management methodologies is essential.
4. Formal project management training is a plus.
5. You must possess good written and interpersonal communication skills, relationship building skills, and collaboration skills across diverse cross-functional teams.
6. A passion for excellence is a must, as is the ability (and preference!) to work at a fast-paced, energetic company.
7. Energetic, organized and detail-driven.
