有一天，
我看见在沙滩上的足印因为海浪的冲洗，已经消失了。
我便对主说：
主啊，你曾经在最艰难的时候，抱起我走过，
并在沙滩上，留下你的足印，
难道这只是我的幻象？
你是否真的陪伴我走过？

之后，
我听不到回应，
正当我想离开的时候，
海边翻起了巨浪，把我脚下的沙粒都带走了，
脚下 我赫然发现了主的足印，
原来一直在那里，
并且深深地刻在岩石上。.

One day, I found that the footprints in the sand had been washed away by the waves.
I said to the Lord,’Oh Lord,you have carried me during the most troublesome times in my life and  left your footprints in thd sand. Was that real? Was that my illusion? Have you ever walded with me ?'

I got no response. When I was about  to  leave, big waves hit the seaside and washed away the sand beneath me. All of a sudden, I found that the Lord's footprints were there beneath my feet. I then came to realise that He had always been there and His footprints had been carved in the rocks.
