我会选 C
other students 在这里很通顺。the other student 比较顺，the other 带复数，不大顺。
another five minutes 是可以的，实在是the other students 不舒服。
five more miutes很顺，所以我想选 C。.

这句话的意思是我再给那些没做完练习的同学5分钟。第一个空填the other，特指那部分同学，后面是固定用法，other five minutes——另外5分钟。.

我认为，如果曾加过five minutes,再加用another five minutes..

首先这句话是标准的中国英语，既然有了其他学生还要for them多此一举。
第二，第一空应该是the other students 既然是来完成练习的人那么应该是有特定的范围的，应该加定冠词the
第三，再给他们5分钟的表达应该是another five minutes 或者five more minutes,初中英语前者比较多用
所以，这道题目的答案应该是B
从语言流畅的角度来说，the other student +five more minutes读起来更上口。
不要盲目崇拜答案，现在很多练习册上的答案都有错的。.
