假如我知道

假如我知道，这是最后一次看着你入睡，我要为你紧掖好被角，祈祷上帝把你灵魂守牢；

假如我知道，这是最后一次送你出家门，我会叫你转回头，再给你一次吻和拥抱；

假如我知道，我会在感激中听你的声音响起，我会刻录下你的言语和动作，以便我能天天重温这个美好时刻；

假如我知道，我要挤出每一分一秒，停下来认真地对你说“我爱你”，不会再像平日里那样敷衍了事；

假如我知道，我会在那儿陪着你度过，我坚信好运会降临，我能让这厄运悄悄溜掉；

总以为会有明天，可以弥补犯下的过失；

总以为会有第二次机会，能够把每件事做得完美；

总以为还有另一天，说“我爱你”；

总以为还有另一次机会，说“能为你做点什么吗”；

事实上我错了，我只能拥有今天，我应该告诉你我是多么多么爱你，多么希望我们永不离弃。明天没有与任何人相约，无论你年轻还是年老，今天或许是最后的一次机会，和你心爱的人紧紧依偎。

为何还在等待明天，今天不赶紧去做？如果明天永不再来，你会悔恨这一天。

如果你无法抽出时间，给朋友一个问候，给爱人一个拥抱、亲吻或笑脸，也许这就成了他们最终的遗憾。在今天紧拥着你爱的人吧，在他们耳边低语，告诉他们你是多么地爱他们，多么渴望和他们在一起。抓紧时间说声“对不起”吧，说“请原谅”“谢谢你”或者“太好了”吧。

如果明天不再来到，你也不会为今天的事懊恼。

I would tuck you in more tightly and "pray the Lord, your soul to keep."

I would give you a hug and kiss you, and call you back for more.

I would video tape each action and word, so I could play them back day after day.

If I knew it would be the last time I could spare an extra minute or so
to stop and say "I love you," instead of assuming you would know I do.

If I knew it would be the last time I would be there to share your day,
I'm sure you'll have so many more, so I can let just this one slip away.

For surely there's always tomorrow to make up for an oversight,
and we always get a second chance to make everything right.

There will always be another day, to say our "I love you's",
and certainly there's another chance to say our "Anything I can do's?"

But, just in case I might be wrong, and today is all I get,
I'd like to say how much I love you, and I hope we never forget.

Tomorrow is not promised to anyone, young or old alike,
and today may be the last chance you get to hold your loved one tight.

So, if you're waiting for tomorrow, why not do it today?
For, if tomorrow never comes, you'll surely regret the day...

That you didn't take that extra time for a smile, a hug, or a kiss,
and you were too busy to grant someone, what turned out to be their one last wish.

So, hold your loved ones close today, and whisper in their ear,
that you love them very much and you'll always hold them dear.

Take time to say "I'm sorry," "Please forgive me," "thank you," or "its okay".
And if tomorrow never comes, you'll have no regrets about today..

很感人的诗句。5年前通过凤凰卫视目睹了世贸倒塌的全过程，因为是现场转播，简直像亲历了一番，当时只有一个感觉震惊。
有时在想这世界到底怎么了，中东无休止的渊冤相报，美国到处反恐。。。.

听说，911是美国政府内部好战派的阴谋。比如世贸的倒塌不仅仅是因为飞机的撞击，比如第二天美国就宣布对伊发动战争，似乎这一切都是已经计划好的？如果真是这样，可怜这些无辜的民众成为炮灰。难过。。。。。。
