背誦經文:弟兄們、這樣看來、我們並不是欠肉體的債、去順從肉體活著。 你們若順從肉體活著必要死.若靠著聖靈治死身體的惡行必要活著。(羅8:12-13)
Memorize Scripture: Therefore, brethren, we are debtors—not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.
(一)肉體喜歡欺壓 神的兒女
Flesh intends to persecute God’s children
一個不容忽略的屬靈原則 An un-ignorable spiritual principle
—『當時那按著血氣生的,逼迫了那按著聖靈生的。現在也是這樣』(加4:29)
— “But, as he who was born according to the flesh then persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, even so it is now.” (Galatians 4:29)
一個眾所周知的經歷事實 A well-known fact of experiences
—『你們若順從肉體活著必要死』(羅8:13a)
— “For if you live according to the flesh you will die” (Romans 8:13a)
(二)神的兒子叫我們得著真自由(約8:36)The Son of God makes us free indeed (John 8:36)
A. 因著基督,肉体已經被釘十架 Through Christ, the flesh has been crucified
— 『凡屬基督耶穌的人,是已經把肉體、連肉體的邪情私慾同釘在十字架上了。』 (加5:24)
— “And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.” (Galatians 5:24)
B. 因著基督,我們已經被釋放 By Christ, we are made free
—『基督釋放了我們,叫我們得以自由,所以要站立得穩,不要再被奴僕的軛挾制』(加5:1)。所以-
— “Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.” (Galatians 5:1). Therefore -
a. 要站立得穩 Stand fast
b. 不要再被奴僕的軛挾制 Do not be entangled with a yoke of bondage
(三)聖靈帶領我們進入這自由(羅8:12-13)The Holy Spirit leads us into the freedom (Romans 8:12-13)
A. 靈裡的完全自由—『…主的靈在那裏,那裏就得以自由。』(林後3:17)Complete freedom in the Spirit – “…where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” (2 Corinthians 3:17)
B. 生活上的完全自由—『我靠著那加給我力量的,凡事都能作。』(腓4:13)
Complete freedom in daily living – “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. “ (Philippians 4:13).
