请教英语

There  is  a  book  on  the  table.改成疑问句,正确答案是(1)还是(2),还是二者都可?
(1)Is  there  a  book  on  the  table?
(2)Is  there  any  book  on  the  table?
记得我小学里(80年代初)老师专门强调必须选(2),今天儿子的老师要选(1),我想会不会是我的老师教错了,还是知识在更新?急盼解答,谢谢..

必须选1。
如要选2的话，应该是Are there any books on the table?.

这样理解是否对?只有当后面的名词是复数和不可数时才能用"any",是吗?
否定句"There  isn't  any  book  on  the   table"对吗?

There  isn't  any  book  on  the   table.不对.
应是There aren't any books on the table.  因为book 是可数名词．
否定句和一般疑问句中的"一些"用any.若表示希望得到肯定答复也可在句中用some."Would you like some coffee?"
肯定句中出现any表示"任何",后跟名词的单数.He is taller than any other boy in his class.  Let me know if you need any help..
