2014年第一季度托福写作机经总结
2014年的托福考试已经拉开了序幕，在此我们来总结回顾下2014年第一季度的写作考试趋势，为备考下半年的同学们提供一些参照。
众所周知，我们托福考试的写作分为：综合写作和独立写作两个板块。
先看综合写作，回顾第一季度的托福考试，历史&人文类话题出现频率为10%，生物&考古类话题出现频率为70%，政策&社会出现频率为20%。接下来，我们再来看一下具体的考题：
1.12 汽车是否要减速行驶的问题
1.18 保护蝙蝠的措施
2.22 与chimpanzee对比，bonobo的习性差别
3.1 植物的叶子在夜间闭合的三个理论
3.2 某种头像锤子一样的鲨鱼，头部奇怪造型的三方面作用
3.15 争论著名的Pearl Poet到底是谁
3.16 关于动物保护，讨论土拨鼠的生存
3.22a 两百万年前蜜蜂到底存不存在
3.22b 美国农业补贴有没有好处
3.23 野牛bison数量的下降的原因
大家在备考时应充分利用机经，熟悉各类话题背景知识及相应词汇。如3.23.考题中的bison. 野牛食草，它们栖息在草原上。结成大群有时上千只进行季节性迁徙。冬季向南方迁移寻找食物更丰盛的地区，春季向北方迁徙。但人类的活动eg:猎杀野牛会对造成其数量减少。这些背景知识大家都可以通过学习机经把这些常识储备下来。
其次，我们看到独立写作，education类考题出现2次，people类考题出现1次，society类考题出现5次，government类考题出现1次，work&success类考题出现1次。具体作文命题为：
1.12 Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? In modern times, grandparents cannot give their grandchildren useful advice because the world of today and the world of 50 years ago are too different.
1.18 "In times of economic crisis, local governments often reduce the money they spend in some areas. In your opinion, if a local government is facing economic problems, which of the following areas should it spend less money on?
--Libraries
--Public transportation
--Police”
2.22 People who develop many different skills are more successful than people who focus on only one skill.
3.1 It is not a good thing to move to a new town or country because you will lose contact with your old friends.
3.2 Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Society has created too many rules for young people.
3.15 Which do you think is the best way for a student to make friends: joining a sports team, participating in community activities, or travelling? Use specific examples to support your answer.
3.16 Do you agree or disagree？It is easier to be well-educated today than it is in the past.
3.22a Younger school children (aged from five to ten) should be required to study art and music in addition to math, language, science and history.
3.22b Do you agree or disagree: young people today are less dependent on their parents than in the past.
3.23 o you agree or disagree with the following statement: Students should take at least a year to work before beginning college.
在考场应对独立写作时，首先要站稳立场，不要写着写着偏题了。其次要有逻辑清晰并且表达精炼的分论点，去进一步论证支持自己的观点。在写作时，可以举贴切的例子来加强作文的说服力。这些都是在我们的写作课堂上会进一步传授的技能。
