I bought some home learning books from Australia. These books will help develop your child's reading and writing skills. It is closely linked to the National (English) Curriculum and is aimed at children in Year 5. It is designed to help parents support their children's education.
Apart from encouraging her read extensively, I normally speak English with her at home. Also, I always encourage her to retell the stories or recount what happened verbally..
