Overall Purpose of Job
l   Oversee day-to-day administration of the Finance organization –Prepare and submit financial and operational analysis and report to support the management’s decision making. Ensure the high reliability and timely delivery of financial information in line with standards, local statutory requirements, and U.S. GAAP standards.
l   Initiate strategic proposals for business growth, productivity, and profitability improvement. Provide leadership in budgeting and forecasting process
l   Oversee internal control and risk management in the business units, make necessary adjustment for polices and procedures, and achieve effective implementation to ensure an optimized control environment.
l   Handle treasury and taxation management to improve the cash flow position for the plant.
l   Lead and develop the entity’s finance team


Major Responsibilities  
·         Take charge of financial/operational analysis and reporting to ensure the financial information is reliable, and take the regular base report to AP Head office before deadlines. (e.g monthly/quarterly financial/operational review and forecast).
·         Oversee accounting processes including billing, payables, payroll and month-end closing, ensuring accurate account reconciliations and account analysis.
·          Ensure compliance with all appropriate local statutory regulations and versus US GAAP (generally accepted accounting principals) for reporting
·          Handle banking/treasury and credit control functions as required. Deal with Tax authorities needed. Keep strict tax compliance and initiate effective taxation plan for the entity
·          Work with business leaders for cost and expense control and productivity improvement.
·          Build up strong finance team. Provide effective coach and training. Take regular base assessment and development communication with key team members
·          Ad-hoc projects for business development
·         Lead internal control and risk management (incl SOX compliance). Implementation and maintenance of rigorous operational controls and comply with Sarbanes-Oxley internal control requirements\Work closely and support General Manager on all business and strategic decision-making. Evaluate the P & L performance of the business. Provide effective operational analysis and strategic recommendation for the entity’s management and AP management team. Prepare budgets; perform in depth financial analysis of various business scenarios (business case study), work with multiple currencies; identify business trends and opportunities
·         Initiate, drive and monitor action plans to improve cash flow performance. Maximize cash position based on proactively managing and reducing both working and invested capital.

Key Competencies
·         Strong finance and accounting experience. Advanced and well-rounded skills in finance, accounting and taxation
·         Strong analytical and research skills and a good knowledge of manufacturing operations.  A solid understanding of major factors which will contribute to an organization’s profitability
·         Proactive attitude and ability to work cross functionally to reach operational excellence
·         Knowledge and implementation skills in internal control (incl Sarbanes Oxley Act) and risk management
·         Computer literate. Familiarity with today's major ERP system applications and databases.  Excellent skills in MS Excel and Powerpoint
·         Skills in coordination with cross functional departments and business heads
·         Self-motivated, a sound understanding of the India business culture, and the ability to work effectively in the face of challenges
·         Detail oriented, focused, and capable of identifying key issues
·         Strong people skills and leadership capability.
·         Strong business acumen with strategic thinking capability.

Education & Work Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Commerce, ACC/CPA/CMA or MBA preferred

Language: Strong communication skills in English and/or Mandarin

Experience: At least 7 years accounting/finance working experience. Background in manufacturing enterprises is a must. Background in a large distribution organization and/or accounting forms is preferred..
