课文 The Kiwi
目标: 通过课文学习，让孩子们能够:
1.        抓住文章的主旨: The kiwi is a strange New Zealand bird.
2.        欣赏说明性文章的写作特点；
3.        掌握文中的重点词汇和搭配；
4.        展开一系列与主题相关的听、说、读、写、译等拓展活动.

具体操作

Pre-reading tasks:
1.        看看说说：用英文描述图片中的动物---kiwi
2.        分析比较：用英文讨论bird 与 chicken 的异同.

While-reading tasks:

1. 快问快答：扫视课文，定位相关信息，快速反应，立即作答；
2. 课文理解：概括文章的主旨，并复述kiwi的外形特征、生活习性、生存现状等；
3. 词汇学习：操练课文中出现的生词；
4. 重点难点：the same size as...等；
5. 文中关键句子的翻译；
... ....

After-reading tasks:

1. 完成课文后的相关练习题
2. 替新西兰政府写一份关于保护kiwi的倡议书
3. 小组成员诵读比赛
4. 英文原版短篇故事赏析.
