楼主的这个单词好象拼错了.

如果是it is ,this is ,that is
就是单数.

不加S,因为只一种图形.
如果有两种以上图形,加S.例如:what shapes are they? they are triangle and round..

不对的。应该是What shape are they? They are rectangles.What shape是用来问形状的疑问词组合，如同What colour一样，不根据后面的单复数变化而变化，一直都用What shape...?
